Build a Business That Doesn’t Need You for Everything

Operations help for small business owners in Boone, the High Country and western North Carolina, and anywhere else the work makes sense. Real operations experience, face to face with owners, staff and customers. A plan we build together, based on how your business actually runs.

What We'd Do Together

Most owners already know where they want the business to go. What’s missing is the path: who owns what, what comes first, and how anyone knows it’s done. We start by looking at how your business actually runs, not how it’s supposed to. Then we decide together what’s worth fixing first. No long proposal, no ongoing obligation.

Learned in the Building, Not the Classroom

I’ve spent my career running operations: opening stores, staffing them, bringing struggling ones up to standard, taking a paper-based tax practice digital without closing its doors, and running operations for a financial services firm for the last 11 years, growing into the COO role along the way. I learned it face to face with owners, staff and customers, under real conditions: short staff, bad forecasts, new technology, and businesses that couldn’t stop while we fixed them. When a business runs right, owners get their evenings back and employees get to do good work. That’s why I do this.

Not Sure Yet? That’s Fine.

The first conversation is free and there’s no pitch. We’ll talk about what’s going on and both figure out whether working together makes sense. If it doesn’t, I’ll tell you, and I’ll point you somewhere better if I can.
